I was fortunate to grow up in a large family. I was the seventh out of eight children and we had a lot of fun. My parents blessed all of us with a strong faith, a great education and a solid work ethic. Since my parents grew up during the Depression, they also instilled in us the wisdom of saving our money.
By starting The Brennan Group, I was able to fuse all of these components together. My team works hard to help companies save money, and we have fun doing it. We have the faith that we can achieve positive results for you as well as educate you on how to improve your systems as your business moves forward.
I love what I do, and I’ve been able to foster in my team the same values that my parents taught me. The joy of creating satisfied clients motivates us to continue to improve our performance. Michael Brennan has been in the strategic tax consulting business for over 22 years. He has an accounting degree from St. Louis University. In 2000 he started The Brennan Group, creating alliances with analysts, appraisers and experts across the country, enabling The Brennan Group to work with any size business in any industry and geographic location. In addition, our specialists are up to date with the ever-changing tax laws, day-to-day economic issues that affect values, and governmental mandates which challenge businesses on a daily basis.
Complementing our various tax management and valuation services, The Brennan Group has recently added several cost management services to our toolbox, including telecommunication expense review, utility audits, and worker’s compensation premium analysis.The bottom line – we find ways to add to your bottom line by reducing these expenses.
The Brennan Group is committed to ethical business practices. We work within the state statutes to ensure you are utilizing all exemptions. Many businesses are overvalued and paying too much in taxes. Sometimes, though, assessments are fair, and we’ll tell you that. Your company may be a big part of your community, and an essential part of your county’s tax base. We work as a liaison between the county and you, negotiating an assessment that works for everyone.
Over the years the Brennan Group has continued to grow.
